I’m officially on vacation now! I am almost packed for my trip to Lake Superior tomorrow.I haven’t been to Thunder Bay in twenty years. In 1998 I took the bus back and forth across Canada. On the way out west, during the 20 minute stop in Thunder Bay, stepping outside the bus the land felt wondrous. On the way back east, I made a point of taking the later bus back and staying the day. It was one of the most memorable parts on that trip. I’ve wanted to go back and explore it with a car and this summer is finally the year we do it.
