The table top position is a variation for many exercises and works well for pregnant women and people with back pain. This isn’t a good position for people with bad knees. Try it and see if it works for you. This move improves balance and strengthens the core.
Kneeling on all fours (Table Pose). Lift the abdomen up as much as possible and lengthen the spine. Keep breathing as you bring your right hand over to pull in the left knee. Keep the abdomen lifted and try to hold for up to three breaths. Slowly move back to all fours and repeat with left hand to right knee.
